Some of the things I learned through our documentary:
- how to film
- what diff. camera angles were called
- editing (cutting clips, music, etc.)
- most random people are willing to help you out (aka street interviews)
-blogging is not that much fun, but it’s a necessary evil
-making a documentary is a lot harder than it looks, doing this documentary made me think differently about how people film

Rachel–
I found it fascinating, as well, that people would talk to us–in less than an hour, you all interviewed 22 people in a not-so-busy neighborhood. That’s impressive.
What do you think you will do with the camera angle knowledge?
Film-making is difficult–if you do it well, it looks easy.
It was great to have you for a WHOLE semester this time
Have a lovely summer.

When I’m taking pictures I’ll think more about these camera angles and which ones will produce the best picture.
Ms. P -Thanks for making your class ten times more interesting then any the other English classes.
